The Sharks Swim Team was formed in 1998, they have been around for almost 20 years!  Let's not see it end.  

Thank you to all those who have stepped forward to take on more responsibilities.  As one of the Team Reps I know I don't do everything but with some of my new volunteer work my time has become more limited.  I think we can make a successful team if we divide and conquer.  So below are some responsibilities that are still open.   We still need new Team Reps "in training" for longevity.  They would be learning the nuances of the Swim Team.  It should be our goal to have new Reps every 2 years.

Team Rep to attend the 4 Sunday League Meetings during the year.

Volunteer Coordinator - after registration makes sure that everyone has 3 volunteer times.  Then a few days before each meet makes sure that all volunteer slots are filled and send out email reminders.  At meets will make sure people are where they need to be.

Assistant Concessions:  Assistant Lias Daltrini with setting up and picking up concessions for 2 home Meets

Scorekeeper - We may Ginger Goff & The Gibsons but need someone to assist to learn for the future

Stroke & Turn Judges: This requires attending a free 1-2 hour workshop by the League to get certified and then Judging at Meets.

Events Coordinator - Plans our 2 events: Team Pool Party and End of Year Banquet.

Co-Ready Bench - Helps with Ready Bench at meets

Co-Meet Operations - will be trained by Jen Manley to know how to make meets happen

T-shirt/Spirit Items Coordinator - Angela Wentink, please let me know if you are coming back

Treasurer - The Fransen's, please let me know if you are coming back

I will continue to do Registration, Website maintenance & Ready Bench

Please let me know what you can do (especially those who have asked what needs to been done).  I know our HOA President, John Orsack, is one of our biggest fans and will do his best to accommodate our Team with what it needs.  We are very fortunate to have a supportive HOA, great facility and wonderful neighbors.  Lets keep the tradition ALIVE!
